If you grew up in the early 2000’s like me, then chances are you were majorly let down when Disney canceled the reboot of the classic show Lizzie McGuire. But have no fear! ColourPop is here to mend our broken hearts. The makeup brand, best known for their high-performing affordable products, took to Instagram earlier this week to tease their latest Lizzie-inspired collection.
Encouraging followers to “grab [their] ankle bracelet, hair crimper and butterfly clips,” the makeup brand is fully embracing early 2000’s nostalgia by delivering an entire collection of products inspired by the OG Disney show. Since the announcement, their entire Instagram feed has been flooded with the new collection. And we’re loving it!
Nostalgic Products
The entire collection features the cartoon version of the iconic character and is just what we need right now. The What Dreams are Made of Palette has twelve eyeshadow options in shades “Outfit Repeater,” “Dear Diary,” “Don’t Freak” and more. With a combination of shimmery and matte shades, the palette is serving serious Lizzie vibes.
In addition to the stunning eyeshadow palette, the Lizzie McGuire Collection also includes a Lip Scrub, four shades of So Juicy Plumping Gloss and Glitterally Obsessed Glitter Gels in shades “Sing to Me Paolo” and “Get A Grip!” Two options of Pressed Powder Blush will also be available in shades appropriately named “Dee-lish!” and “You Are Magnifico.” Product prices range from $9-$22.
