First, you may select up to four different colors at any level you desire to craft your custom lipstick. With a wide range of signature shades, the options for your unique blend are truly endless. I combined ruby-red, flame, coral and magenta all at 100% and ended up with a gorgeous fuchsia color that’s great for my skin tone. I used The Beauty Tailor’s virtual mirror feature on the site to ensure I got the color I wanted, and it’s a perfect match!
Next, you’ll choose between three different options for the base of your lipstick: crème, matte or vegan organic. As someone who loves a lipstick that doesn’t budge, I opted for the matte base, and the staying power is super impressive!
After choosing a base, you have the option of adding an all-natural flavor or essence to enhance your lipstick even further. I went with the pink champagne flavor that’s subtle and delightful, but options include everything from mint flavor to chocolate essence. You may then choose to include a specialty additive, like mineral sunscreen, lip plumper or an antioxidant complex. (I opted out of this step, but if I did it again, I would definitely add the sunscreen!)
Finally, the last step is personalizing the packaging of your product. All you have to do is type in what you’d like printed on the cap and on the box. You can even choose which box design you want to house the lipstick! I went the simple route with the last step, choosing to print my name on the cap and box, which features a cute heart-filled design. And I’m loving it!
